The wind is a concern (especially with respect to an 800 WR shot) - but at least it’s in the right direction. If you are going to have wind on the track for anything above a lap, you want it to be down the back straight where you can really use it in that key 3rd 200.

Armstrong is about to pop in and tell us how different the 800 is from the 400h, but yes I agree. However, most of the reason why we are now seeing such a drop in times in this event now is because those 50/2:00 are now actually taking the 400h seriously.
