- it's actually faster than where he was two years ago, when he did ... (nothing)
- Diamond League races are overrated...
- He will be there when it counts...
All BS. All athletes race to win, to be the best.
If you don't win races, you're not the best. I don't consider him top 3 right now.
Exactly. He knows how to peak well for a one off race but the criticism of him is warranted for being the best throughout the season. We'll see how he does at USA's but so far he is for sure not the best.
He almost set a 3k world record indoors and just PR'd in the mile lol. If that a "bad start" to the year 6 months in, you freaks are lost for good & not worth saving.
(A "one off race" that is THE RACE EVERYONE DREAMS OF WINNING. Lol. Freaks)
I was surprised that he finished 4th. Last I noticed him in the race he was WAY back. I don't like him, but think he'll be a factor at Nationals and at Worlds.
The field got stuck behind Kipsang who noticeably slowed immediately after the 400 and ended up coming in near last. Hocker should have went past him right there. the field was 1:26 through 600 and 2:26 through 1,000. sad considering they were all there to run fast.
said he wasn’t 100% going in dealing with a cold. But he’s encouraged comparing it to last year, he’s in a better spot. Except him to look really sharp come USA’s.
I don't think it's a meaningful race for him. That late closer mindset simply isn't dependable race to race. There are too many decisions to make and always traffic issues.
He'll be fine when motivated. But this feeds into what I posted after the Olympic final. I have no idea how his price tag went up.
That was good race from him... Sorry he doesn't target mid season time trials for internet points.
Hang on, this can't be right, 100 upvotes for this? I thought this was the LRC message board where only Jakob-led TTs are valued? I'm getting very confused now
