Looking at the video she has a bit of a shuffling stride that tends to lead to better results at longer distances. Given how well she's already running at 3K/3200, I wouldn't be surprised if she's a monster at 5K/10K in college.
Based on her PRs and NXN win, isn’t that kind of obvious?
Obvious that she's good in general, yes. But what I'm saying is I think the longer events are likely even better suited for her

Last year I barely heard of Jane Hendengren and all the news was about Sadie Engelhardt. Such a huge breakthrough in one year, well less than a year as it started in cross country. If she keeps on this rapid pace, and cross fingers no major injuries, and kids usually make major strides from 18 to 20, she will be a contender for the LA Olympics, I mean a Olympic medal contender! I haven't seen anyone like her since Mary Decker AKA Slaney!

You know what they say about assumptions- and there are a bunch of them in there. That works both ways, as the first bad race she has this board will be littered with she’s done comments. I hope she gets a chance to enjoy all she has accomplished before tackling the next big goal.
Last year Jane was injured, this year Sadie was injured. Are you all actually supposed to be knowledgeable about running, because it kind of seems like no one understands the sport at all on here?

BREAKING!
Right. Ridiculous to think that she could approach 4:07 with a style like that and record so far. Someone said marathon? Nope - too tall she might be good but not great. Someone else said remind them of Mary Decker??! That made me LOL no resemblence at all. However, she might make waves at 5/10 we shall see.

How long have you been in this sport? You are very hare-brained aren’t you?
Can’t you see that this beautiful running figure Jane has the most sus running biomechanics ever since the founding of America?? It’s just picture perfect example of undoped natural talent, I know it because I have ran like her before in years past. I exhibited the same running nirvana as she did using the same exact biomechanical space-time intervals!! She runs completely off of her mid-section center of gravity, maximising oxygen efficiency by using least amount of energy for each gait cycle at COG, a bit like Lasse Viren. She could run like that forever if not exaggerating!!
She will be good at all distances including world XC!!

Assuming she stays healthy, she is going to be a force in the NCAA next year.
I agree!! Josh Kerr and Ed Cheserek started the trend of NCAA freshman phenoms and Jane is undeniably one of them already. Her space-time intervals around the oval track are just so advanced only a Tirunesh Dibaba or Meserat Defar both clean talented Ethiopians could ever be in the same conversation.
It does appear deceptive that Jane is walking snow-white Ethiopian!!

BREAKING!
My eyes are well trained and have accumulated over 1000000 data points male and female throughout its existence on this earth. Jane has anything but a shuffling stride!! This is an inaccurate description!! She has a gravitational stride that’s what it’s called dude!!
It’s just that her pendulums in the upper half of her gorgeous running figure is a little more elongated thus providing the illusion that her stride is short and understriding. The optical wavelengths hitting your retina reflected from the top half of her gorgeous figure averages with the optical wavelengths hitting from her lower half!! Your brain thus produces an average feel of what is captured by your retina which is inaccurate!! The way around that is to focus only on her legs and ignore her upper section!! That way you can see her stride for what it is——world class!!

Learn some physics !!
Very impressive nuance here. Never thought of that but I’m hardly a Mr Physics to begin with. Our eyes play tricks on us time and again and the fishes in the pond at an angle is one good example. I guess the guys on this forum failed to apply blinding on Jane’s legs to isolate it and appreciate it for its magnificence.
