Zero context given , just assuming people think they bombed as they didn't hit target and looking for a pile on and that high from all the lads jumping in.

As for full Send ...don't like him , but it happens.

I was marshalling just before Rotherhithe at the 17km post. There was no cooling breeze at all, few clouds and the sun was hot. Runners sweat of course, but it was coming off in bucket loads even at that early point. All credit to the runners dealing with those conditions. If fast times are wanted then maybe organisers need to move it to 4 weeks earlier in the year.

Surely they just need to start it a bit earlier. If they started at 8 rather than 9 it would make a big difference. It's not like the daylight isn't there at this time of year.

This is just a dumb post. Ben going for it? 2:18? Is he even serious? He posted a workout last week of 4*6mins MP . Maybe he doesn't know how to use a lactate meter, as if he did that and thinks he was in 2:18 shape the guy is a full reta*d. For real. A complete idiot. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, there will be still others who see him as the hobby jogging hero when really what Big Ben knows about training you could write on a post it note.

What I love is the guy is almost a hobby jogging myth. To the point I think some of the trolls in the original thread think this dude is genuinely not even real. It is refreshing a guy actually making a difference at that level not looking for attention, or to sell garbage to us. Id buy it even if he did at this point just to give something back he's earned.
I think that's why everyone was so happy he crushed London. Whereas I think for the most part people are sick of these youtuber d-bags excuses, lack of performance whilst running pro hours at time. Something relatable, dude who figured out training himself by being smart and only running like max 70 mile weeks, plus being older and making them all look ridiculous. Their excuses when they slowly come out are pathetic when someone just ran 2:24 on a debut.
Credit to Anya Culling, strong strong strong race at 2:36. Unsurprisingly given her own massive build up, Mary McCarthy tried to make the day all about herself. 3:09, very respectable but a big song and dance about how she was on pace etc etc. It’s also not that deep, New Balance had paid you her to run and you don’t do a 9-5 so this situation is a luxury.
