Call me crazy but I genuinely believe she should press charges here. At the end of that video interviewing the family, the athlete says she is dealing with concussion symptoms and a possible skull fracture? That seems INSANE for a baton hit, maybe the video doesn't do justice to just how hard she was hit. Regardless, I don't see the arguments against pressing charges here.
What are yours?
Yes, they should press charges against the hitting girl’s heads to give her electric shocks to fix her head.
Wow. I've never actually held a baton since age 15 or so. I remember it being a very light plastic kind of item. Obviously if I smashed someone in the back of the head with it they'd be pretty ticked off, but probably not too badly hurt.
Was I just using a child's baton? It looks like this must have been much heavier for it to have done this. Or I guess if you really smash as hard as you can it could do that kind of damage. I think I maybe just don't recall the heft of the baton accurately.
Horrible for the girl. Agree charges may be in order if injuries are that serious

1. It looks like a dive. Those batons are thin aluminum and probably couldn't even leave a bruise. Not like she was carrying a lead pipe. So probably a faked concussion and definitely no fracture.
2. We don't know what she said to the assailant leading up to that. If you run your mouth to the wrong person you might get smacked. Believe that.
