My last half marathon was 1:29:17 at 56. Haven't run one since (I'm 64 now, couldn't come close to 90 minutes).

I will turn 56 this year, and I hit all of those marks last year. I haven't raced yet this year.
My PRs are not very fast, although they were all set in my late 30s: 16:54, 35:49, 1:18

I was late 40's but I was coaching a lot in my 50's and didn't train or race once. I did once do a 1:28 half marathon in my mid 50's the day after standing for 8 hours coaching at a track meet.
I think if I had taken my training seriously I could have continued longer.
I noticed that as I got older the coaching took more of a toll on my body- standing for hours at practice after being in school al day and then the meets.

Did all 3 readily at age 66. Expect the same for at least 70.
How do you guys keep your weight down after age 40? no alcohol? no junk foods? its so hard to keep the weight down after 40

same way you did before 40 Eat reasonable amounts of calories and exercise.
I'm 70 and still under those marks.
5k: age 57
Then I switched to focusing on the 800 and mile.
50 year stretch sub-6:00 in the mile: from age 11 to 61
Currently, age 62 and 2:31 PR for the 800 this year

66 - sub 19, low 39, sub 1:25 last year
lifetime bests were low 15, sub 32, 1:10s
I'm going to try to hit sub 20, 40, 1:30 at 70 but you never know--one injury or major illness from being knocked out of the game
75 now. Sub 19 at 62, last sub 20 at 68. Sub 40 at 66. Last sub 90 was at 56, but I only run a half about every 5 years. I think that sub 20 and maybe sub 40 are still within the realm of physical possibility with a perfect 6 month block of training and a perfect race day, but those almost never happen.
54, my last year of serious training/racing
(18:31/37:32/1:22:03)
Ran 17:34 and 1:20:02 at 31. Wasn't training at what I'd consider a "serious" level at the time. Haven't run one since., Well, let me restate that. I think I ground out a 19:xx a couple years later at a fun run on july 4th. I ran 32:20 for 8k (so fairly close to 40:00 10k) at a July 4th fun run a couple years after the 19:xx time, so proably around age 37
I started having unceasing injury issues in my early 30s. I'm on my feet all day at work, then coach after. I think that is what contriubuted to the issues whenever I'd start to try and train for real. I just decided it was time to exercise to stay fit rather than to try and race.
5k - 65
10k - 58 (haven't run one since. Was probably in shape to do it at 63, but race cancelled due to COVID)
Half marathon - 56 (haven't run one since)

49 Y/O and I broke all three of those in the last month just in training - 18:30 5k, 38m 10k, and bang on 1h30 in the 1/2 - but those were all training runs. I expect I'll continue to be fit enough to break all three for probably the next 5 years. Next question.
59, I'm still well under 19 for 5k. I race rarely and never longer. I just do a time trial by myself every once in awhile and for some reason do intervals once a week. I don't ask myself why as there is no logic to it. Use to be sub 15 back in the 80s and 90s.
Funny this came up, I just did a tempo (likely race pace) for a 5K in 19:50.
I'm 54.

Retired now in my 40's, so I guess I'll never run slower than the times on your list.
Interestingly, my slowest time in any of those race distances was the first time I ever raced them. All in high school. Half marathon was the longest I had ever run in a single run up to that point too, which felt dreadful.
Have never run slower than 17:53, 34:46, and 1:24:48. Was more of a 400m-800m-miler guy though.
Never won a college race though, my running "lack-of" achievement I think about the most.
