They went out too fast maybe? Hopefully Grant can grind it out last 2-3k.
5:06.13 at 2000 meters
This record is toast. A good over/under right now is 12:43
No video, but live splits
5:06.13 through 2k for Grant

Fisher went out in 58 for first 400m per the live results. That will bite back near the end. They are 5:06 through 2000m.
5:06 @ 2000 . . . right on pace for 12:42 - 12:43 . . . Principe & Mcluckie pacers.
roughly on 12:46 pace halfway
About 12:46 pace halfway on inconsistent splits.

Announcer is an idiot. he’s off by 2s on every split
12:45 pace at half
7:39.16 at 3k, pacers dropped, Gressier 2 seconds back, it's solo from here
7:39.16 at 3000 meters.
Greasier trying to hang on.
fisher staying right in that mid to high 30s range, looking good
Grant 7:39 @ 3000 . . . 2 secs off 12:42 pace . . .
MILE TO GO
Already hitting traffic.

8:40.96 through 3400m. 4:00 flat for last 1600m gives him 12:40. I think hes got it.
Fisher is a tough guy.
10:12.97 at 4000 meters
10:12:97 at 4k. Think he'll be under WR but not by the 12:42 that was talked about for pace setting yesterday
