If Brojos are ceos it is worthless. If it is up to those on message board, also broke. Hard to see it having any actual value.

This entire thread is a waste of time. It's well known Elon's buying it. One of the last bastions of completely free speech that the Brojos approve of.
A few commenters love to rip on this place yet you're all... here.
My favorite visitors are the unregistered randoms who start threads whining about how this place is "toxic" yet they're all... here. Like Alec Baldwin and the Hollyweirdos who claim they'll be moving to Canada, they never leave.
If the 1 million unique visitors per month stat is real, that's impressive. Would be interested to know the trajectory of visitors and views in the last, say, 5 years.
Perhaps the owners are more motivated by having a thriving, diverse running blog that facilitates robust discussion and occasional journalism, and less motivated by the bottom line. That is refreshing in this day and age.

please kill this thread
kill it dead
It would have more interest if the Brojos literally did anything. Check out the other running conversations out there on Reddit, strava, etc and you’ll see plenty of people stopped coming here.
i see letsrun has nearly 1 million visits per month. and 160K page views per day.
that does not happen by "doing" nothing.
track and field news has 190K visits per month. 31k page views per day.
Runners World has 2.6 M visits per month.
i come to this site for news and sift through the garbage in the forums and find nuggets from ex athletes, coaches, with interesting stories and imput.
along the way, throw in some basic advice and analysis which is pretty much restating the words and methodology of name coaches and athletes from the past.
It would be easily to manipulate the market. I can just create a bunch of epic threads about Bekele. Also anytime the website shows Superhot on Letsrun, you know that the stock price will rise. Anytime someone creates a dumb thread then the price will go down, which is sadly most of the time these days.
letsrun stock or the $TRUMP meme coin?
Which would do better over 1 year, 5 year, and 10 year horizons.
