It's a little over 15 seconds per mile slower than 5k pace. And each rep is shorter than a 5k. This doesn't sound too crazy. This is like 2 x 4k @ 10k race pace with 5 minute rest. It's on the more challenging side of workouts but not outrageous. Certainly not an early season workout, but doing this a month out from a big 10k race would be reasonable.
