you don't need a second opinion, if it hurts it hurts. go to a PT and actually do all the weird little, seemingly not helpful, rubber band exercises, etc. If your actually concentrate and spend time on getting better you can get better

You started a similar thread a couple of weeks ago. Here is my reply again. Have you tried any of the things I mentioned? If so, what was the result?

This is totally a guess, but here is what might have happened.
You got a ligament sprain initially that you never allowed to heal so it led to inflammation and then to arthritis in the nearby joint.
The initial injury probably was from stepping wrong on uneven terrain or wearing very flexible shoes that put too much pressure on that joint. Or it could be because you ramped up training too fast and your foot ligaments weren't given enough time (many months) to get stronger. (It's not just how much you run. Just because your teammates' feet were strong enough doesn't mean that your feet were strong enough. Everyone is different.)
When this happened with me, I did the following immediately.
1) Switched to a shoe and orthotic that provided more support in that area.
2) Taped the foot before every workout.
3) Taped the foot even after it healed before a hard or lengthy track workout.
4) Used epsom salt soaks to speed blood flow to the area.
5) Used liniment for heating to speed blood flow to the area.
At this point you have a chronic injury that's been around for four years. Even the best approach is not going to make it go away immediately. It will take months.
Have you tried any of the suggestions I made?
I had navicular pain for the longest time.
1) Doing other sports helped it go away for me. Don't just run. Cross train, etc.
2) Did you get a cortisone shot?
Yes, I got the cortisone shot. It helped relieve some pain, but my joint still feels much weaker and less stable compared to the other foot. It sucks I have arthritis at a such a young age
