Sprinting is defined as 100m and 200m. Was Juantorena a sprinter? The indirect thread question is how fast can a sub-10 sprinter run a mile.
You have already been schooled here but are too stubborn or stupid to learn. So there is nothing to be done.
The confidence you have in your limited knowledge of the categories of track athletes is impressive. That a 400/800m is runner is not a sprinter, should not be a difficult concept.

The 400m is a long sprint. Everyone knows this but you.

If anything, the 800M is practically a two-lap long sprint as well.

It’s practically not. Here’s the definition of sprint:
“to run or go at top speed especially for a short distance”
If a 400m athlete “sprints” sub-20 for the first 200m, he will crash and burn coming down the stretch. A 50 second first lap for a world class 800m athlete, is not sprinting.
I never got answer to my question as to whether Juantorena was a sprinter.

You have a low IQ. The 400m is a long sprint. Therefore one can say Korir or Juantorena are middle distance guys who can also do long sprints, or you can say they are long sprinters who can do middle distance. It doesn’t matter.

Quincy Wilson can probably run in the 4:20s right now. Maybe better if he cared about it, which he never will. Still, je's got a 44.20 300 and a 1:50 800. He can run a decent mile.
Rudolf Harbig ran a 4:05 1500m as an early season tune-up when his 800m pb was still only 1:51.8. He went on to run a 100m in 10.6 that season (the official WR at the time was 10.3, although Jesse Owens had run a not yet ratified 10.2), and lower his 800m pb to 1:50.6. He never ran further than 1000m again, but did break the 1000m WR.
The next season he ran his famous WR of 1:46.6. He started that season with a 100m win, but sadly the time is unknown. As well as the 800m WR, he broke the 400m WR with 46.0. A few days after that, he ran a 4 x 100m leg for his local club, and they finished in 41.4. The WR at the time was the US 4 x 100m at the Berlin Olympics featuring Jesse Owens and Ralph Metcalfe - 39.8.

Maybe.
But he is not a sub 10 100m guy
Ok, but in addition to his 44.20 400, he also has a 21.02 indoor 200 pr from last year as a 16-year-old. I'm not quite sure what you're getting at by stating he's not a sub 10 100m guy. He's definitely a world-class sprinter that is only going to get better, anyway you slice it. His ability to run a 1:50 800 without even focusing on it further affirms his raw talent and natural endurance strength. There is no way you can tell me he can't sleepwalk a mile in the 4:30s at a minimum.

If he were a world class short sprinter, he would have tried out for the 100m and 200m at the OG.
21.02 is not world class.
He may be one of those rare long sprinters like Juantorena and Harbig and Mark Everett and a few of the recent/current Kenyans who is world class at 400m and 800m.
