Running is addictive, and so are hate groups, like the GOP. So marijuana is different? Almost nothing is more addictive than nicotine.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. The GOP is addictive, so we shouldn’t care about marijuana?
That is why they're called potheads. No different than crackheads. The difference being the latter will kill you.
there is no other kind of "addiction" than chemical dependence. You have to go through withdrawal and have a biological need for the drug.
Very few drug users are genuinely addicted, except when it comes to opioids.
Addiction "treatment" was mostly developed by religious crackpots, in an era where religious crackpots commanded great respect as medical authorities. Kind of like chiropractors and naturopaths today. This has prevented more serious inquiry into helping people change bad habits that involve drug/alcohol use. There is massive $$$ to be made converting people into lifelong victims who believe they are helpless, and cannot win without treatment.
Even smoking, which is slightly addictive physically, can be quit easily by habit-control methods. The treatment industry lies terribly about this.

That might be true for some people, especially with high-THC recreational use, but it’s not the full picture. Medical cannabis is a whole different approach. In the UK, it’s prescribed carefully, with doctors monitoring doses and treatment plans based on specific conditions.
If you’re curious how it actually works in a proper clinical setting, here’s where I usually check for info and reviews:
Nice post Josh
