Mt Sac was supposed to have the Olympic Trials in 2020 but did not have the Stadium ready in time, The Stadium is now completed so expect MT. SAC Hilmer Lodge Stadium to work hard at getting NCAA, USATF/World and Olympic Trials Meets.
No way. Everyone hates Mt Sac for goos reason. Far from LAX and a stadium in a dump wind tunnel
You must have never been to Eugene. Weather is a crap shoot and 2.5hrs from a reasonable airport.
LAX > walnut is 40miles and anywhere from 45min to 1.5hrs.

While I liked the "old" Mt SAC stadium, I do not like the "new" on at all! This will not be a great facility to host large meets.

Don't know why people are bitching about Eugene being the default national championship location. In the UK, Manchester has held the last 5 British championships. Before that, Birmingham for 12 consecutive years. Not at all uncommon for one location to hold national championships. In fact, holding a national championship in a different location every year is probably rare.

At least Manchester and Birmingham are large, centrally located cities.
I just checked online and I could fly to Manchester from Boston in the same time and for less money than I could to Eugene. And a downtown hotel there costs less than a highway-side motel in Eugene. That’s not even including the 2x-3x price jump for USATFs. I doubt British champs affect prices in Manchester much.
