It’s not too difficult, I am doing at a decent level (US Olympic trials qualifying level in track ) but you do have to make sacrifices in terms of social events on weeknights.
I do 75-80 miles + two bike rides a week around a 40 hour/week desk job. Usually I run on my lunch break and after work on double days, sometimes I leave a change of clothes overnight and jog there to save time on the commute. If you’re able to get to bed at 10 and get up by 7:30 you’ll be fine in terms of recovery as well.
