He has loads of potential, but his PBs are 1:45.63 and 3:33.96. There is intrigue over his speed as the 800s have been in low-key meets for the most part, and he has some impressive 400m open/relay results.

Colin was a US high school runner so he ran distances like 3200m and 1600m
Nike doesn’t exactly enforce who is “allowed to” train with a group. Jerry and Shalane let a banned doper just show up and run with their team for months because that runner “happened to be in the same place at the same time and doing the same thing”.

Colin is going to go pro in the next year or two. Mike smiths nike group is grandfathering in the pros that Mike currently trains like Luis, Nico, and hiltz. But I don’t think nike will allow Colin to join them because he’s not currently a pro. Feels like a bad move. I mean is NAZ elite gonna take him to the top? Nike made it clear that current pros trained by smith can stay, but Colin is not in that category. Interested if anyone has a similar or different opinion.
