Jakobs great but he’s lost the last three global championships in his favorite event despite being the world leader each time, that is a noticeable chink in his armor. He could run 3:25 next year and I still wouldn’t be confident in him wining worlds vs the field

Cole, Josh and Jakob all have one Oly or WC gold in the 1500m. If Cole stays healthy i think he will outdo Josh and Jakob in the 15, but don't think he will catch El Guerrouj's WC/Oly total of 5.

Jakob's weakest event is the 15, he has three 5000m WC/Oly golds, i don't think Cole/Josh will top this, but i don't think they care, at least not now.

The 600m is impressive, but the 200’s were not difficult for him. They took some life out of his legs to work on kicking strength in the 600m.

my teammates and I did 10x200 in 27 when we were in 1:53 shape.

if you have good speed, 200’s over 25 secs aren’t that tough. He was in elite fitness and at such a higher level. I know you were being sarcastic, but he ain’t revealing secrets with this one.

It is interesting to bring up El G because think of where he was going into the 2004 Olympics. No one gave a flying f*ck about his 4 WC golds, he had to win that Olympic gold.

of course recovery time changes the nature of the workout.

you want 70% recovery to get the right adaptation.

the 600m is to adapt to a long close in a moderate pace race.
