She had a lot left in the last 50 meters, hopefully she gets another crack at a steeple this season.

4:26.66 PB for KT. Andrews right behind. Decent showing for the US girls.

Though Hutchings was downplaying it, it looked pretty windy. Ramsden held on pretty well, but she had to try to win from 850m out and letting Markezich pass on the inside was also sub-ideal.

Tim Hutchings talking about Markezich’s PB coming in being 4:52 is just stupid. Not only has she run 4:27 but even if her mile PR was technically an old 4:52, she’s an 8:40 3k/9:14 steeple runner. Seems like Hutchings had never heard of her.

Tuohy has run 4:24.

decent but not great for Tuohy. Probably training more for 5000 than 1 mile though. Nice run by Markezich.

First 1500/mile she has run since 2023. What matters is she is healthy and racing.

So thrilled that Tuohy beat Andrews and almost Hurta !! Woohoo!
