HUH????? Mark my words you will be proven wrong on August 6th man!!!!!!
My man Josh KERR is invincible right now in the 1500m!!!!!! Look at his flight time vs ground time ratio!!!!! USE YOUR EYES!!!!!! Jakob is not even close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I said was he wasted energy getting to the front when you don't need to. He is still in contention to win gold but for somebody who takes tons of precautions, he went a little too deep there.

Yes still in contention to win gold it seems, but not in actual reality based on flight time vs ground time ratio, and ability to open up his legs and stride to reduce drag with the ground contact forces hence conserve energy and efficiency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry man, you are trying too hard. I'm just chilling out and my man Josh KERR already takes the gold!!!!

This quite ridiculous reasoning. Longer stride or more air time is not an indicator of greater efficiency, if anything, it is the opposite. Jacob and Josh have different running styles. Josh may win the gold, but it has nothing to do with "reduce drag with the ground contact forces" LOL

What do you think Khamis and his form obsession thinks about Emil Zatopek or Paula Radcliffe? I have him blocked but I see you responded to him.

Sorry I know my stuff, I'm an RF Physics King btw. Longer stride always beats shorter stride in general AT CONSTANT EFFICIENCY between highly conditioned high performance athletes, not talking about amateurs persons who overstride instead.
Usain Bolt's sprint records were all achieved with some of the lowest number of steps taken to the finish line because his stride just covered more real estate each stride, you feeling me sir????
Longer stride and less steps taken to the finish line can increase biomechanical efficiency not because your legs are long but because if you bound from one foot to the other further (not higher) you spend more time in the air and naturally tend to spend least time on the ground. You preferably don't want your feet to hit the ground if it's possible because it slows you down and generates a ton of inefficiency but since your feet must hit the ground due to gravity then the next best option is to hit the ground with the least contact time which depends on speed of travel and extend of stride length, you feeling me??????
An example, is it more efficiency to travel through air by plane or on the roads with wheel tyres????
Correct answer: plane because plane doesn't contact the ground and the ground friction is always infinitely larger than air friction duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You failed Physics or something sir????? And trying to gaslight me right?????
Learn from the best that's me Khamis!!!!!

I am a huge Jakob Ingebrigtsen fan, and he looked great. But Kerr, his gait and kick is going to be tough. I hope Jakob has a plan. Dude is gonna’ have to run a 3:25 high/3:26 low i think to even stand a chance.
Just a fantastic run by Kerr in heat. You see how Nordas, a 3:29 runner, was struggling, while Kerr's just chilling. Kerr is at least in 3:27 low shape and he has a faster speed than Jakob. I can't see how Jakob or any one stands a chance.
Nordas is not a 3:29 runner this year
Nick Willis, a guy with a lot of experience and knowledge, could see how Jakob could stand a chance:

If that's the case, put your life savings into gambling for it. But you won't because you are a loser, loser.
I have a feeling that someone might rock the Jakob/Kerr applecart - Kessler? The young Ethiopian? Someone who just has the day of a lifetime? Favorites do get beaten sometimes, that's why the Diamond league is an event (albeit a fast one) whilst the Olympics is a race.

how quickly we forget that Jakob ran a freaking 3:26 and before that closed his Euro champs 1500m domination with a constant acceleration over the last 800m tinishing with a 26.1 last 200m - notably faster than what Wightman and Kerr closed in in their WC wins. There’s always the possibility he loses, but I think he has every tool there is to win this and is the rightful heavy favorite.

By your logic, Nuguse should win going away because he has the longest stride of the favorites, great efficiency, and least ground contact time. But that is not the case is it? My bet is that Jakob runs with more efficiency because he likely has less oscillation (up and down)....he is perfectly still. Josh has more knee lift and probably more power and finishing speed....Jakob as more raw fitness. Can he run the kick out of Kerr is the question. This is not guaranteed; right now I would bet on Kerr but Jakob has an excellent chance to push it from 1000m out and squeeze the sprint out of Josh.
Yes, very impressive and not that far from theb World Record but this is not a paced race with lights but a rough, tactical battle by comparison. i think he is rightfully one of the favorites but he has been taken down in big meets with similar tactics bu Wightman and Kerr so there is there is a doubt about absolute favoritism.
