"Classic music". Ha. You're part of the problem because you confuse popularity and monetary success with accomplishments. The fact that Snoop's music is popular is a reflection of how trashy our society is, but there is nothing redeeming about his music or any that he's promoted. If you're into simple, childish melodies and rhymes juxtaposed with vulgar and anti-social lyrics, then more power to you.
As for him doing stuff for sports, you can say the same about the mafia or drug cartels building schools and hospitals for their communities. The fact you do something good doesn't mean that you are a huge net negative to society.

Sorry, albums like Doggystyle, The Chronic, and Straight Outta Compton are undeniable classics. Not your cup of kombucha, fine, can't just sweep 70s-80s South Central under the rug and expect it not to come back with a vengeance.
Also, did you just compare Snoop to Whitey Bulger and Pablo Escobar as your closing argument? That's a textbook straw man fallacy.
Snoop Dog's only contribution to society has been spreading vulgarity, violence, lawlessness, misogyny, drug usage, etc. and yet he is celebrated and rewarded for it. His dark days may be over, but they're the only reason he rose to stardom. The companies that hire him would fire any other employee for drunkenly uttering in secret what Snoop Dog "sang" for decades. Plus, how does he relate to athletics?
You got a guy who has committed 34 felonies, talked about grabbing women by the pu$$y, and slept with a pornstar running for president, and you're worrying about Snoop's negative influence?

Snoop's theme song is literally just a George Clinton song called Atomic Dog. Its just recycled music combined with violent lyrics that are clearly anti-woman and keep a class of people stuck in poverty and out of advanced education.

Snoop Dogg has made tons of great music for decades, but the stuff he did with Dr. Dre in the 90s with The Chronic and Doggystyle almost singlehandedly invented one of the most popular and influential genres of all time, G-Funk. That's undeniable. You don't have to like it, nor the things it promotes, but it's absolutely foolish to call art bad when it's widely celebrated, influential, and the artist has almost unparalleled longevity.
As for him doing stuff with sports, it's true you could say the same about the mafia or drug cartel building schools and hospitals. I was responding to a post saying that he hadn't made any other contributions outside of bad music.
People are obsessed with seeing the world in black and white. You can do bad things (murder, traffik drugs) and still make great music (you're coping so hard if you think he's not a great musician).
