It's odd that SR would only get a yellow card but Holt was dq'd. a line step or 2 would be more advantageous in the shorter races. I also think the ESP card is sorta BS when you see how many people shove. there's a gently push to let someone know you are there -and then there's Sage's shove.
Holt took 3 steps on the line. Sha'carri only took 1. The rule is a DQ once you take 2 on the line.

the dairy farm and the Mom story seem old to those of us paying attention, but she’s my favorite, nonetheless. She seems well grounded, and she brings it every time. she’s super tough.

What if you are running two events in the same competition (say 1500m and 5000m) and you step on the line in one event and push someone in the other event. Does this get you a DQ in one or both events or do you have to have two violations in the same event?

Second, her cutting in on Hurta-Klecker the second time. First time was bad, but after Sage gave her a push, she purposely tried to cut in again.

Yes. After the Big Push by Sage, Elle defiantly it seems actually slowed her forward momentum, gave Sage the I Can't believe you just did that look, and headed back over to get on the rail! She's nervy for sure. And Sage swatted at her again. And the camera cut away!

You have a right to protect your running lane. Elle was cutting her off by coming in, and she was protecting her path.
If you watch Elle race a lot, she bullies herself into spots like that all the time. Good for her when it works, but can't cry about it when someone protects their spot.
I guess everyone hating on Sage are just beta's that bent over anytime someone wanted to get in front of them.
I completely agree. Elle was trying to move in where there was no opening, and Sage wasn't having it. She may be small but she's a street fighter for sure. Funny part Elle didn't give up and actually went back for more and got her rail. Also, in the 5k Elle was in lane one and went out in #2 to block Cranny at the line. Elle feels entitled and she's gotten away with it so far.
