It was definitely weird, and that plus the debacle in the 200m are reasons T&F has troubling attracting fans. Seems so amateurish.

Why would a major meet even use blocks in that condition? Bizarre.

Tbh I don't think he'll make the team. US fields are always deep and he hasn't been at the level this year.

Yeah Kerley could do it. He just needs to replicate what happened with FloJos record. The 5-7 tailwind and the reader be broken.
I dont expect much when it comes to meets this close to Trials time, but the N.Y. Meet I saw today was pretty bizarre. The mess about startng blocks made the normal inordinate amount of time spent showing every detail and replaying other races and bio info about the "celebrity superstars" nightmarish. I enjoyed the sidebars about jumping events more than the racing. (Except the part with Sidney!)
Anyone know whats up with the dude on a unicycle while playing flaming bagpipes? I tuned in half way through the meet and was a little caught off guard...
