What sucks is she would have gotten it if that Kenyan didn't race like an idiot.... She can get it at the trials though 💯
The Kenyan forced her wide for a lap.
that's the point, the Kenyan not only cost Allie time but themselves time as it seemed liked they surged a few times to try and hold first and Allie to the outside
AO paced the 10,000 (9 minutes in at 76-77 a lap pace)—the race that immediately followed the steeple! Around 9:34 at 3,000 (she stepped off around 3100 meters).
That was the most impressive part of her night. Steeple in 924 followed by a flat 3k in 934 - with barely 4 or 5 minutes rest between the two. Maybe not so difficult if the first "interval" had been at 95%, but it was clearly at 100%.

It was incredible to watch her race.
Hopefully SHE is beginning to believe she has a better than “a 1% chance of making team USA”.
Jesus, another phucking thread about this chick. STOP, PLEASE..
Dude, she’s having like one of the craziest comebacks of the season. Of course people are gonna make a big deal out of it. The lovely thing about LetsRun is that if you don’t like the topic… then just don’t click to read it…
She never had acne in college then all of a sudden got acne as a pro?
Steroids give acne, then she took acne meds with more steroids to fix that.
She's no different than Shelby. Ostrander was receiving performance enhancing benefits from acne medicine that the Anti-Doping agencies DID NOT give her permission to use.
Even if it was an accident, she was receiving significant benefits that her clean competitors weren't.

She has also been open with her fans about her real struggles with an eating disorder. This is an issue that plagues a lot of young female runners, and her willingness to be vulnerable and share her struggle while still training to be an elite runner is invaluable to women trying to recover from this. Over the years we have heard of many young women no longer training or off the scene because of an eating disorder, and most of them are never heard from again. What is unique about Allie O is she shares the day-to-day struggles of continuing to train while battling this old mindset and the difficulties in making herself fuel properly even when the illness is rearing its ugly head, and how hard it can be some days to see herself as a fast runner in a body that is not stick thin. The fact that she is coming back faster and stronger than ever and making US teams while eating properly is such a great example to anyone trying to recover from this. I will always cheer my a$$ off for this girl. She has been so brave to share this, but I think she is helping a lot of young women who are suffering.

She also never even had a period until she was 25 years old. She had an eating disorder, nothing was “normal” about her.
Otherwise, there IS something known as “Adult Onset Acne”.
TBH I never really bought her excuse for spironolactone.
It's one of the most hardcore diuretics on the market- you pee so much that you need regular bloodwork to make sure your potassium levels aren't getting out of whack.
She said she googled its effect on athletic performance, but I tried every combination of those words in multiple search engines and browsers, and every time the number one result was the WADA banned list.

It has no performance enhancing benefits, it's a masking agent. That doesn't make it okay - my point is that you ought to at least know a little something about what you are writing about... or just don't write anything at all.

Allie O is doing really well. I have loved her videos for years. It's a shame that one obsessed incel tries to hijack every thread about her and make ridiculous drug claims. This is why the internet is problematic.
Anyway, 9:37-9:32-9:24, I like the progression. Go Allie O!

She should be SUPER motivated now and truly believe she can make the team!
