I don’t know how Athing and Sydney can go 6+ months of training without racing. I think I would hate the sport if I didn’t have an occasional race to break up the monotony of endless workouts…and dealing with Kersey everyday.

As I watched Bol toy with the other runners I wondered if Sydney would decide to run the open 400 to avoid her in the hurdles.
She has pre-race anxiety, watching your major opponent get faster and faster while you sit at home writing a book has to be tough.
Bobby Kersey failed her.
Bol is what we need for Track and field.
1. she enjoys the sport
2. she competes regularly. Win or lose.
3. She is a team player. See her always celebrating with her unlike Americans running for themselves.
4. Inspite of Sydney not running 400mh, she doesn’t trash talk about others.

FYI- Sydney is half White and I’m black in the US and would rather Femke win over Sydney any day. Sydney has done nothing to help the sport and that’s why she keeps losing fans
Did Sydney ask you to be her fan? One cannot live by fan alone, but by the word of God. I am black in the USA and I am not wishing for any white person to win over a black person. You are out of your freaking mind - if you are black and would rather a white woman beat a black woman. Especially a black woman who has done nothing to you.
