I am surprised that Americans are not better at running because corn flour is a staple in their diet.
Americans have a habit of putting half a lb of cheese and butter into anything remotely carb-centric, so I'm not surprised if it doesn't work quite as well for running.
what grain doesn't matter - teff, quinoa, corn, oats - just eat minimally processed grain - not white bread
