That’s not true at all. he’s GONNA right a book and he’s GONNA start a pro group. Just you wait and see.
He's becoming an editor?
He should certainly have the dignity to lay low. The attention seeking is pathetic. That goes for all the coaches and team mates, carrying on waving their arms like idiots, screaming like they've been stabbed by a javelin up their back sides - all trying to make the athlete's performances about them.
uh - "The attention seeking is pathetic." It seems he doesn't have to seek attention if people are creating threads with pictures of him just of him talking to his former athletes.
What is really weird is that the people who think he is attention seeking are following everything he does. Every picture he posts. Every tweet he makes. Any random interview he does. They need to have some negative take on it. He would largely be forgotten without constant updates from these people, because the rest of the world is not following him.
I think on the LR podcast, they said they talked to Brosnan recently and he said something along the lines of "I'm thinking about flying out to BU because Nico is in sub-13 shape". Under normal circumstances, a coach flying across the country to see an old athlete race a January invite might be kinda weird, but I mean, are we really gonna say it's weird for Brosnan to go cheer on Nico Young breaking 13?
It's not strange on the surface... it is when you consider the race was in Seattle, was not a championships race, and he had no ties other than being a former coach and fan. I'm saying it's on the creepy vibes level.
Either way. disagree with PeachPit. It's creepy. Let the kid move on. Be a fan? Sure... root on TV? sure... but spend a couple grand on travel to watch a person run in circles is creepy
It’s insane a big program hasn’t made him an offer. The guy has so much to give and those who run for him love him. He was treated so poorly by the coaching community while he always made himself available to others. Track and field old hens hated him because they feel like they’re the “Gatekeepers” Some college or pro program who hires him will get a steal.
Belichick? Are you kiddinng? He may be the best professional football coach of all time. He earns $20M per year. Brosnan was a high school coach who earned $10K per year. This it the craziest comaprison I have ever seen. May as well compare a JV high school runner to Ingebrightsen.

What percentage of Power 5 ADs do you imagine know who Sean Brosnan is?
I ran at the meet and saw Brosnan talking to Smith after Sahlman's race, he just sounded really happy for Colin and excited for the 5k. IMO nothing creepy and no toes being stepped on, it just seemed like he was excited to see a bunch of his former athletes in top form run at a huge meet. Personally I don't think it's weird at all.

He was there as a fan - should have been in the stands not on the infield (but that would mean people would not see him there)
What are you 12? Worry about what you do and stop being weird and scrutinizing what others are doing. First of all he is a former coach. Always pays to keep yourself linked with whatever profession you are associated with. It's called networking
