In my opinion, St. Pierre has to put up an elite result after her long layoff to enter the conversation about making a team. Also the 1500 is a bit early to say who is running it. What happens if Mu and Cranny are in the 1500. Based on last year's results it seems like no one on Thoughtsleader's "team" makes the team if Hiltz continues her performance, Cranny US #1 1500m time in 2023 races, and Mu race the 1500.
I am going to express my true opinion.................LLOLLL. Arguing against the blighted practices of this "sport" is like arguing with the wind. But if she is out of college running, well then good. If people want to "act like a pro", don't do it in college. After that I rarely care.
As likely to be in the top three as most of the other top contenders.
I'm fascinated by how many people assume Wiley will be on the Olympic team but Cooper Teare who is a 1500m national champion has no chance. There's no sure bet to make a US Olympic team. Remember in 2021 at this point everyone thought Donovan Brazier was going to win Gold.
Why would you say "likely a Tuohy fan"? Are you just trying to cause divisiveness? Seems that way.
The only "Tuohy fan" that I can think of that really bags on Wiley, and goes way out of bound IMHO, is astro. I actually think he is more of a hater of Wiley than he is a fan of Tuohy, though. There may be a few others but I can't think of who they would be, though.
Just enjoy the victory for Wiley. She has a great future in front of herself.
Also, it's really too bad that we're judging the success of these women on criteria that includes looks. Sometimes thoughts are better left unsaid.
Not wishful thinking, you stated numerous times that she wouldn't get a contract. Even with your new position, why would you wish that on her? All pros dope.
