If the goal of selecting teams was just about providing good match ups now, the committee did that. However, that's a total BS criteria to select teams for. The whole season, including September should matter.

Florida state will try to match Georgia by making big plays on defense, but it will only last for so long. Florida State's offense will be horrible. And the defense will not be able to keep up and this will be a massacre! I could see something like 42 to 7. Anything's possible, but it's going to be a bloodbath.

Non championship bowl games are not a good measure of a team. Many to players sit out and those that do play are not going to risk injury. Look at the Ohio State game. Ohio State is better than Missouri but they just didn't care.

These teams do not resemble what they were in the regular season. They're almost as bad as NFL preseason games.

1) You are learning nothing from this game. FSU is without over 20 top players. If you think this proves the Committee was right, you know nothing about college football and anyone who does will gladly tell you so.
2) If you think the Committee gave you the "best four teams" you are wrong. Georgia would have been a huge favorite to beat Washington. That, and that alone, means you did not get the most deserving four OR the best four. You got the "TV Ratings Four." The Committee and ESPN fed you the "best four" line to see if you are dumb enough to repeat it. Turns out, you are.
3) The Committee KNEW that FSU had injured players and still rated them ahead of Texas. They knew FSU's strength of schedule, and still rated them ahead of Texas. Then we got new information. FSU beat the better (higher ranked) team in the Conference Championships, bolstering their resume. General common sense would tell you that moves them farther ahead of Texas. It does not magically drop them lower. That should be self evident.
