Nutella is poison to a healthy body

2 Tbsp seems like a reasonably generous serving size. Yeah, I know we have all at some point spooned it out like we're eating yogurt, but at no point did I think I was eating a reasonable serving.

True story. I used to eat four pancakes with Nutella, and I mean a lot of Nutella, for breakfast every morning. I didn't notice any weight gain, but I was around 25 then and exercised a lot.

I do not enjoy nutella, and it always disgusted me after looking at the ingredients. It's almost entirely vegetable oil and sugar. Sick. Can't believe people eat this crap.

This is much ado about very little. Trans fats are not toxic like cyanide that will kill you or like Teflon that take a long time to get eliminated. Most oils we commonly use end up introducing a small amount of trans fats in our bodies anyway, so there isn’t a reason to be hyper-paranoid about trace quantities. If the grams of trans fats consumed are a negligible fraction of the grams of total fats consumed, you’ll do just fine.

The small loopholes in FDA’s food labeling laws don’t keep me up at night.

Carbs in general are bad, with only processed oils worse

I heard this one is better. That being said, I also heard that massive quantities of nuts are unhealthy even without the palm oil. Who knows. My move has been to substitute with homemade cookies using 100-year-old heritage strains of whole wheat, sourdough levain, soy-free chocolate from Peru, butter from pastured grass-fed cows, and organic eggs from pastured chickens . Cheaper and better.

If you are craving a chocolate snack, protein powder is your friend. I recommend putting greek yogurt in the freezer for an hour or two, until it’s thick but not frozen. Mix in chocolate protein powder… it’s like a thick pudding packed with nutrition. Serve with banana. Yum. You can also add in cocoa powder.

I don't know who you are talking about, and neither do you it seems, since I am not keto and many days not even low carb. I never skip my red meat and eggs, however, unless I'm fasting, which is rarely anymore since fixing my metabolism.

Oh no! Now I'm only going to live to 93 instead of 96. All these modern concerns got me dying fast.

A small amount won't kill you but I wouldn't spread that regularly. It's basically sugared grease emulsified.

I think Americans obsess about diet. Obesity is mostly about genetics and activity level. When I sold my car and had to either walk or take the bus I ate the same yet lost 40 lbs over 5 months. I never realized how driving makes life so much easier yet less satisfying. Eventually to get there faster I started jogging, then running. For the sacrifice of convenience I amazingly don’t even think about diet or working out. I just have to or I’m stuck at home. I carry my Groceries 3 miles on Sunday with a branch with 4 bags on each side and lift as I walk. Sounds crazy but honestly I don’t even need an antidepressant anymore nor meds to regulate cholesterol. It’s a way of life and not for everyone. But overall I look 10 times better and feel 20 times better. If you’re extreme enough to try it do it.
