NIKE CROSS NATIONALS PREDICTIONS

Every year the midwest is in the top 5 mix individually and i anticipate it will be the same this year. We sleep on them every year and it’s the same result.

Auburn 19…that’s generous. I would be surprised if they get in the top 20.

There’s probably some method to the madness but I am confused about the predictions totally opposite to what happened at regionals, e.g. Niwot boys over Riverton. I think Riverton beat them by like 90 pts right?

on the other side, Air Academy girls over Niwot despite Niwot.

Riverton has been good all season, but their NXR race was a crazy breakout.

Niwot has been good all season, but did crazy good at their state meet, and slightly worse than expected at NXR.

Both teams in my IMO will finish no lower than 12th at NXN, but I can see either side of putting one team over another.

I wonder if Niwot and Riverton can finish in the top 11.

In 2018, 4 CA boys teams finished in the top 11

I just noticed Air Academy has 2 girls under 17 in the 5k this year. How many HS girls xc teams in US history have even had that?

These predictions are ridiculous. Has this guy been paying attention all season? CBA will podium. Don't let past years fool you, this year's CBA team has the killer instinct needed to do something special.

CBA is notoriously know for choking at nationals though. Last year they were projected top 3 at nationals but got their butts kicked which isn't the first time it's happened at the national level.

Those guys were sick last year at NXN, just like Southlake Carroll
