This is one of the most suspect threads I've seen on Let's Run. I have no problem with anyone thinking that Schumacher wasn't a good fit, that he's inexplicably held back his runners, etc. However, I would ordinarily expect a number of upticks but also some down ticks. But when posts have not just a few upticks but well over 50 with 0 or maybe one or two downticks in several posts I have to believe this was orchestrated. It's like there's a cult of "I Hate Jerry."

It's kind of bizarre. Same on the Lananna thread. I wonder if it's someone gunning for a job or someone with an axe to grind. I'm surprised someone hasn't stated that Schumacher is angry.
For all you 'everything before the iphone is pre-history' types: Regardless of recent results, Schumacher is an XC coach. He coached Wisco, after all.

NO. His sons team is in Portland and coached by Tom Rothenberger who has been there since the 90's.

Seriously though, his hire & continued presence at Bowerman was crazy after Shelby got popped. It just shows how little some ADs & athletes care about striving for a clean sport.

You can only like something once. Voices are always heard more when someone doesn’t like something. The owners of letsrun just care about money not the sport. You get more views when you open the doors to hate.
