I ran into the British P.M. Rishi Sunak down at my local high school track. He was doing “quarter mile” repeats as he called them, in order to contextualize whether he should be impressed by Kipchoge’s marathon pace. I asked him the same question re: the Paris 1500m, and he just said “*ole *ocker baby!” and hit his watch for his next 400 rep, which was another sub-60.
