Hassan should have went for the win. She played it safe and understandably so after a tough 10K. But it would have been interesting if she took the lead with 500 m to go. Obviously Faith probably would have passed her and won it and maybe Hassan would have fell to third
But yeah faith is definitely on another level at the 1500 and 5K but it would have been interesting if she tried the triple if she could have won all three or if it would have been too much for her and she might have only won one...
Hassan started our kick too soon in the 10K I think she could have won it if she really timed it right and she could have got two silvers along with that with ideal racing...
Could faith have won all three? Is she really too good or fortunate that Hassan is tripling? Will she ever win marathons like Hassan?

She could have and i suspect she will.
Girlboss has XC strength so the 10k and the marathon when she moves up will be good
Faith, Kipyegon & Tsegay all should try 1500m, 5000m and 10000m in Paris to finally decide who can handle all the three events and maximum medals
I really think they should be entered in all events from the 100m up. It's clear they have something the other competitors don't. It reminds me of watching the E Bloc athletes in the 70's and 80's.

Definitely, Army. Would be very interesting to see both Faith and Kipyegon compete in the 400m hurdles.
Also A and Thing and Mu in the 5000m.
Than I want to meet Arm and Strong and Stupid in Christchurch to talk with him about the handicap of Mu and Ray and Hall and Berg.
The dominance of the E African women is simply too extreme and too conspicuous. It is like an entirely separate sport with them. We see much the same with Jamaican sprinters.
If they came from a pool of natural athleticism of that kind of superiority to all others we should expect to see them excelling in every kind of sport. But we don't. Their best athletes are all found in only one sport of a narrow range of events. They are sports in which doping will make an automatic and demonstrable difference, because they aren't sports of technique and skill like so many others.
Sure, doping will be present everywhere, but what we are seeing in this sport from these countries is beyond obvious. It is in plain sight.
By now, most of us have seen hundreds and hundreds of elite Kenyan runners. We know what they look like: emaciated, often a little hunched over, stick-like arms and legs. Then here comes Kipyegon, with her bulging biceps and thick powerful thighs. She doesn't remotely resemble a Kenyan elite runner. EPO didn't do this. What she's using or has used has or had a muscle-building effect.
It is all a complete joke - and the fans fall for it.
Aren´t you a bit selective when it comes to your doping accusations?
I didn´t see any accusations from you when Kerr won the 1500m or when Wigthman won last year.
But you are always ready when we are looking at any other than your Anglo Saxon darlings.
I have said that doping will be at the top and can be found anywhere. The chances are that Wightman and Kerr will also dope but a peak level of 3:29 doesn't of itself confirm doping for me. But 3:28 or better is definitely a red flag.

Right, in the more technologically advanced countries like your superior island, where all the research on doping is done - like the island of your beloved letsrun friend - , they don't know how to apply it at all.
But wait, anybody dopes, isn't that what you pray day in day out?

By that reasoning, then the fact that the vast majority of NFL and NBA players are black must also be conspicuous. What are they doing that white players are not?
Lumping Hassan in with E. Africans doesn't work. She has lived and trained in the U.S. for years. And what about Helen Obirii? She moves to Boulder and wins Boston. These runners are getting tested out of competition just like the Americans so it's a stupid argument.
Hassan ran 56.7 , chebet 56.8 And they both ran extra distance so it seems to be what the best are capable of... If the pace was a little faster faith might not have won. I don't think she would have won all three if she did the triple.
