Couldn't agree more. Not shabby at all. But they best stay far away from the Media 800 in Budapest. Between Gault, Merber and some of those foreign journalists, I bet it'll take a sub 2:00 to podium.

Because this is Letsrun, don't we have to speculate as to whether either of them are, or would be, clean. If fan boy Weldon adopted some of Paula Radcliffe's strategies, he would be favored for sure. But, burritos seems to be increasing available, so I doubt either of them would be able to pass any of the admittedly easy to trick drug tests. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them currently has a testosterone prescription - no TEUs for that - and Salazar style massages could help them both achieve their dreams.

I'm impressed with the times. Off no training, it's pretty decent. Most people would be a lot worse, even if they don't want to accept that.

Again, agreed. But "off no training" might be generous. These guys knew well before, that there would be a media 800. Who knows how much prep they might have put in.
