Except you can watch that list til your shades burn through and her name will not appear on that list as long as she is naia.
Will she run usatf indoor?
not record eligible on an oversized track either, sorry bud
Maybe not, but that is still an impressive time for a frosh miler. She is clearly talented. Everyone is so caught up in promoting their favorite and discrediting every other female athlete. I don't have much interest in following NCAA women at this point - it's become so partisan, and even toxic.
Setting aside the back story, 2:02.33 and 4:32 as a frosh indoors are very, very good.
They are both the best ever for NAIA. 2:02.79 is listed as the best all-time NAIA 800m outdoor.still
4:32.15 for Wiley was 5 1/2 seconds better than 2nd in NAIA all-time. The D3 mile record is 4:40. The D2 record is slightly better than Wiley at 4:31.99, just set 2/11 by Berenice Cleyet-Merle. 4:31.24 is 24th all-time D1 mile, so she's probably more like 30s all-time for D1 mile, but her high school 4:27 would put her somewhere between #4 and #7 D1 all-time, not counting 1500m conversions. This is good company as that puts her within a second of Sally Kipyego, Elle Purrier, Leah Falland, and Dani Jones (she would have gone to Colorado with a mile time already putting her at #2 all-time for that program). Her 800m time would put her at #24 or 25 all-time indoor with Laura Roesler, an NCAA champ at 800m. So, I hope she's clean, because she's running great times already and it's early.
Since it was an oversized track, there are five additional times at 2:01-2:02 listed with Roesler's 2:01 the best of those. But 2:02's 2:02. When they run outdoors at 400m, this track gives no advantage against those. Since she ran this essentially alone, I am going to predict that she breaks 2 outdoors against top competition.
gonna get popped the second she walks into USAs. can’t wait for this program to tumble down.
Haha, you must have missed this post. Wiley is one of only five runners who placed top-6 in NCAA Outdoors and/or top-30 at NCAA XC in 2022 to EVER be tested by USADA. That's 38 runners -- and only five have been tested. Seems like some other "favorites" around here need to prove they are clean; these five have already done it. FACTS! Sounds like people here are starting to get nervous! The "Queen" is looking vulnerable! Somebody better stick to being the Queen of the 3000/5000 because the 1500/mile is already taken. The future of American milers looks bright - and her name is ADDY WILEY!

Of the following 38 collegiate runners, only five have EVER been tested by USADA for drugs and only two since 2020. Can you name the five? Your answer in one hour. Oh, the suspense! (These are the runners who finished in the...
