Fantastic podcast, probably the perfect thing to listen driving home in awful traffic. Woody has always seemed kind of a peripheral figure to me to the point where I was disappointed he made the team ahead of Cooper Teare in 2021. After this though, I’m a fan. He’s had some pretty big performances in his career and the fact that he’s willing to follow his gut, leave a stacked group in Bowerman, and backs it up with an American record is just awesome. Hope he keeps it rolling through the spring!

So basically he wanted the Jerry punishing workouts in his 20s. Now in his 30s he wants to make sure he can recover. Because you don’t recover from punishing workouts as quickly as your 23 year old self.
So Magic Mike will keep him on the Sub T straight and narrow. When he runs he will move oxygen like a boss with a black trucker hat and mac daddy accent.

I enjoy podcasts and can’t for the life of me figure out why people would rather watch or listen through YouTube but that seems to be where most podcasts are going to drum up more interest and double dip.

Another different way to interpret it (although I can’t say for certainty this is the correct interpretation) is from the interspersed running vernacular amongst them, like “Your move, Centro.” So in this case, Kincaid makes a bold move (striking out on his own) and lays down an incredible performance, and Grant replies “Mate!”, which is short for “Checkmate!”, an acknowledgment that Woody’s performance was a stunner in their ‘running game’.

If you did video chats instead of podcasts they'd likely get 100% more "viewers."
I have a full video with Woody but we really like the podcast form. And you can listen on runs, in the car, etc. We generally don't post the full videos if they are long. A lot of the guest then can be more focused on what they're saying than how they look.
I'd say most of our Supporters Club members pay us so they can get more podcasts from us.

Stop with your nonsense.
They are friends. Saying “mate” implies well done. Used solely without writing a sentence implies such even more strongly.
