The 1500m final is before the 5000m heats which is perfect for the double. His primary goal should be to win the 1500m back-to-back-to-back which would make him the undisputed GOAT.
If he loses the 1500m in Paris, than he could try the 10000m or Steeple in 2028.
I don't think any woman will do 10k/marathon double with that schedule.
Also, no 400/400H double for SML or Bol.
I think that schedule works for the 400M / 400H double if those ladies want to give it a try. Sydney doesn't have to put much effort in each round before the finals to advance, I think she could still have enough in the tank to win both events even with racing 6 days in a row. WRs would likely be off the table but I'd rather try to win 2 Gold Medals in a OG than just 1 if I were at her level.

The 1500m GOAT? Not sure about that. It would still not be the equal of Coe's back to back golds, as Jakob had the fortune of the 2020 Olympics being delayed to 2021. He would not have beaten Tim in 2020, and he has just a 3 year gap between Olympics.
He has also lost to Jake Wightman in a major championship, and nobody thinks Wightman is yet the equal of Coe (still possible that could change if HE wins Olympic Gold, as well as defending his crown in Budapest).
Jakob has still not run as fast as Coe (or Cram) by any reasonable estimation of the time benefits of super shoes and the latest Mondo tracks. He still could become the 1500 GOAT (although some would still say he has to beat El G's doped WRs), and indeed the GOAT runner, but probably has to do more than 'simply' defend his 1500m Olympic title.

I hope you are right because I agree it is too risky to run the 10000m before his main events the 1500m and the 5000m.
I think he should only triple if the 10000m is the last event (as it was in the European Ckamps this year).
