In Tasmania there is a law that if you race in white you get to have your way with a local virgin post race. Pretty sure that's the law.

I think in these 'pro' handicap races there are some rules around not wearing sponsored kits/logos.

Needs to recover from that pole up his arse...gee with all due respect, one would have thought he had done something to his form by now. Is it anything to do with Bideau's view that "speedwork is not important for him"?

I enjoyed the video of the race with Sir Les Patterson calling it.

The production including the camera work and commentary for this all-comer meet are better than anything USATF/runnerspace could put together. Can we get Aussie play-by-play men for US meets?

For some added context - McSweyn grew up on King Island, which is a tiny island half way between mainland Australia and Tassy so these are his local races that he competes in annually in front of his family and childhood friends. Kudos to Ollie for travelling down and having a crack at some fun races whilst he's back for Christmas.

This is pro racing. All competitors need to wear a coloured vest. If I remember correctly, the back-marker wears white.

It also ties in with the betting/gambling side of, as punters are betting on the vest colour, not the name.
