Ideally, I would like to find someone 30 to 35, as I want to have kids before i turn 50. But the 30 to 35 year olds that are well educated, in good health/shape, and that I am both physically and emotionally attracted are mostly taken.
I am to blame because in my 30s, there were at least 4 girl friends that I could have married and have kids with, but I was afraid of that level of commitment.
I am almost on the verge of going back to Ethiopia to find me a younger wife. If I don't meet anyone by next year, I am really gonna do that.

This 'date someone your age' thing is just a letsrun meme. For most of the human history girls got married off very soon after they reached the minimal acceptable age, and men were commonly in their mid 30s, so 15-20 years older. This lasted all the way into XX century and then sexual revolution happened and everyone could have sex with anyone no questions asked (unless illegal). So this '2 years younger at most' isn't even conservative bias, a true conservative would say any woman older than 23-25 is an old maid or damaged goods.
Just disregard that and go for whoever you want. Btw, are you even interested in women in your 40s, or in sex at all?

My friend - 53, just had their 5th kid. Wife is about 38. Seemed to work out for them. Believe it or not they are open to having 1 more.
You can still get married in your 40s and start a family. Women 40-45 can also start families. My sister did and my wife was 44.
Plenty of time in life, be patient- live 110 years!

No. For most of human history, men (and women) DIED in their mid 30s, so no, they weren't getting married at that age. Typically, both men and women married very, very young. I'm sure a lot of men lost their wives to childbirth and remarried, but unless they were top honcho, not in their mid 30s. Think getting married at 14 and remarried at 20.

Most men marry the first kind of cute girl who returns their texts. Most women settle for a guy who isn't their first choice. Most relationships and marriages are comprised of people who don't enjoy being together, but do so for what are primarily financial reasons and a fear of being alone. If you as a man in your 40s routinely dates girls 25-30 or something like that, people will be very upset, predominantly because they're envious and angry you don't have the same limitations they have.
I'm in my early 30s and date women in their mid 20s. My social circle has dwindled due to the pandemic, but when I had married friends, they were clearly jealous and resentful and even their wives were upset because I was cutting against the grain. I'm glad all of those people are gone from my life.
