I posted on this forum years ago about Pamela having her first child and one of the BroJos ( can't remember which) essentially discredited me and demanded proof. Imagine the onus being on a woman to prove she's not DSD, not the other way around. Like seriously? Pardon my language but that's so effed up!
I remember explaining that her body had developed in a way consistent with a woman who'd given birth and stopped working out, and even alluded to her no longer being flat chested but no one believed me.
Will the BroJos apologise to Pamela for this most abhorrent of smears? I won't be holding my breath.
Ten years later, Pamela Jelimo has received an upgrade of her fourth place finish at the London Olympic Games in 2012 when she was awarded bronze after Mariy...
Peter Kiprotich Murrey, the ex-husband of former Olympic champ Pamela Jelimo, blames fame and fortune for their failed marriage. While opening up about their once happy union, Kiprotich said Jelimo’s millions turned their sim...
I don't know about Jelimo but the "intersex" persons who became famous in the last years like Semenya have to my knowledge no female reproductive organs. They are biologically male (xy chromosome and internal maybe underdeveloped testicles), with some particular development disorder (I think there are several slightly different ones) that prevents complete and normal male organs to be formed but they have male Testo levels and accordingly muscularity, bone density etc. closer to males. They certainly cannot bear children.
Unfortunately this had been framed so confusingly that I myself believed for a long time that they were biol. females with uncommonly high T levels, not biol. males with uncommon outward anatomy. With the correct description I think there would be far less doubt about whether they should run with/against females or not (i.e. almost everyone would vote for not letting them run with females)...
1) She's female, but there's no proof that she's female.
2) She's intersex, but there's no proof that she's intersex.
3) She's male, but that there is no proof that she's male.
Are we sure she's even human at this point? I haven't seen any proof.
But you're the only one suggesting that people with DSDs might nor be human.
People with DSDs are fully human just like everyone else - and they are still male or female, too. Most DSDs are sex-specific, affecting only male sex development or female sex development.
Whilst some activists advocate for use of the term "intersex" for political reasons and because they see having a DSD as an "identity" in the contemporary sense of the word,
many others living with variations of sex development, as well as their parents and health professionals, feel that the term intersex is also inappropriate and increases a sense of stigma and isolation. This is illustrated by only 5% of women with classical CAH feeling like they are part of the intersex community – and recent research showing that only 10% of young people [with DSDs] either like or use the term. Research from DSD-life also found intersex to be the most problematic term when patients were offered a choice between intersex, disorders of sex development and differences of sex development.
The below essay is very quickly written and still very much a work in progress, but I felt it was important to share some of this information as part of Intersex Awareness Day. As someone bor…
There's no shame in having a DSD. Lots of people have medical conditions affecting some aspect of development.
The only reason people with DSDs became a contentious and much-discussed issue in sports is because in the 1980s and 90s, sports governing bodies decided to open up women's competition to XY athletes with certain differences of male sex development. These particular conditions affecting male sex development and only male sex development cause affected individuals to have atypical-looking external genitals for males but still to have the same set of physical characteristics - starting with fully-developed testes which pump out male-typical levels of testosterone - that give males as a group distinct advantages over females as a group in nearly all sports.
The issue here is that over the past several decades, sports authorities have made what many believe is a grave error in allowing people with certain male DSDs and male sports advantage to compete in the female sex category, which has been and continues to be patently unfair to female athletes. And unfortunately, once sports officials created a loophole allowing athletes with disorders/difference of male sex development into female competition, some athletes and their national federations decided to take full advantage of the situation. In the process, many of these athletes, their coaches, handlers, national representatives and many others - including the worldwide mainstream media - started telling blatant lies about the sex of these athletes and the nature of their male DSDs.
Some do,some dont.Theres different intersex conditions, and some have more testosternone than others. It could be that pamela has more testosterone than is usual for a woman, but has far less than caster semenya or francine niyonsaba. Its also possible pamela has a womb, whereas the other two dont.

Where'd you get this info on her testosterone levels? Such B.S. She's a mum i.e. XX. All woman.
bull crap.when i first saw her run all those years ago,she looked for all the world like a teenage boy,not a teenage girl. The face, the jaw,the brow, the adams apple, the muscles on too thin a frame, flat chested. Also under 20 girls cannot run 1.54 naturally.i dont believe a clean teenage girl can ever break 2 minutes over 800's. They either have to be on drug cocktails or be DSD.The human body has limits. Its called biology.

There's video from this week right on this thread. No sign of an Adam's apple. Also, have a word with Athing Mu about teenagers breaking 2 minutes.
I thought the story about the initial child was debunked long ago. Either wasn't hers or didn't exists or something but I honestly have forgotten.
This is the first I have heard of other kids.
It would seem a pretty simple matter to sort out whether she was ever pregnant (ie photos) or if there are official birth records? I have no idea but her career had a very odd arc, that's for sure.
