Agreed, you are abnormal if your reaction to seeing this is anything other than blink your eyes and move on without giving it any thought. Don't let SM turn your mind into that of a silly adolescent.
She is 64 years old. The image she has built for herself is incompatible with growing older. Combine that with an insatiable desire for attention and the result appears to be a mental train wreck.
What does she do for exercise, if anything ? Couch to 5K could help.

Yes, she has always been pretty athletic. She was insanely ripped during her yoga years.
The worst part about Madonna's current image is that there's nothing radical about her trying to keep up with the trends of people much younger. Her whole brand used to be "iconoclast" (whether or not she was successful in that). In another universe she's out there eschewing fillers and filters and implants and hair dyes, showing what performance and art and aging look like together. In this universe, she's just kind of pathetic.
Look at the Boomer rockers... they are STILL at it! You have the Stone still singing, at 70+ years old about how they can't get satisfaction. Bob Dylan releasing books, Billy Joel is touring with Stevie Nicks.. they refuse to get off the stage.
To be fair, none of them had to rely on their looks as much as Madonna did. Madonna was much more "image" focused. I saw Billy Joel perform this past summer and his voice sounds exactly the same as it did in live performances from the 80s/90s.
Fame, isolation, jealousy, too much money, etc. This is why people shouldn't want fame and fortune.
Preach. Went to high school with someone who is a reality star from a show on Bravo (Josh Altman, Million Dollar Listing). I'm sure he makes good money, but the way he's slagged online and hated/loved is something I'd never wish for. I'm not sure if all the money is worth it, but think he handles it OK otherwise he'd stop being on TV.

Madonna hasn't sold almost twice as many albums as the Rolling Stones in half the time because people liked her looks.

What era did you grow up in? Not hating. Just curious.
Madonna humping the stage to "Like A Virgin" at the MTV Video Music Awards had little to do with that song and more to do with her image and exploits. There is a reason so many teenagers were dressing like Madonna and for the life of me I don't remember anyone dressing like Mick Jagger in the 1980's.
The spotlight is addicting for those that have the personality to even think of going into entertainment. Once they get a taste of it, they can't let it go. It's hard to name many that have faded away quietly and with grace. Look at the Boomer rockers... they are STILL at it! But IMO a celebrity posting photos, footage and content about herself playing dress up and looking and acting weird on social media for attention like Madonna is doing, and has done for years, is very different to performing artists still appearing on stage and writers and lyricists releasing books.
Have you seen what the average 50-70 year old person posts on the social medias? She might take one more level but social media makes everyone vain.

I went to high school in the 90s. My sisters are older than me and they were obsessed with Madonna. She was an icon in the 80s.
You don't become the bestselling female artist of all time by humping the stage.
People hate older people because that is where they are headed. It scares them. They want them to "act their age" not realizing that being old comes sooner than they think.
