I don't remember Wake Forest having more than 3 studs: Aaron de Huerta, Zach Fancioni, and the Flemish guy who went All-American in the mile.
I think Ian Shanklin who narrowly missed All-American by one spot 2 years ago in the 5K (Morgan Beadlescomb beat him for 8th) might have a coming out party here and there are a couple other NC State runners looking pretty good. Also, I believe Ahmed Mohammed is gone? Can anyone confirm that?
Does anyone know if they're planning on racing freshman Gary Peters who had an excellent senior year? 1. Feghan Curtin, Fla St 2. Matt Carmondy, Notre Dame 3. Parker Wolfe, UNC 4. Ian Shankllin, NC St 5. Iziah Steury, Notre Dame 6. Zach Fancioni, Wake Forest 7. Antonio Lopez Segura, Virginia Tech 8. Thomas Vanoppen, Wake Forest 9. Aaron de la Huerta, Wake Forest 10. Brett Goldstein, NC State
Um, methinks you left out Wake's Luke Tewalt in your stud count: sub 4:00 mile and 13:43 on the track.
Of course everyone is showing up. Its conference dumby
Great to hear that zero athletes are sick/injured
It will be a great race
Since you can put 10 on the line at ACCs, sick and injured dudes will still be on the start list. You can rarely tell anything by start lists these days...
