The real disadvantage isn't the birth, it is the time and energy drain over the next 5 to 6 years. Both parents feel that equally. Getting up at all hours of the night, the never ending attention it takes.
Being a mom is no more work than being a dad.
I completely disagree.
Is the dad up breastfeeding at all hours of the night? No.
is the dads body continuously making milk the first year of said child’s life? No.
will the kids daycare or school call dad first? More than likely not. They will call mom first.
Many people don't breast feed so mom and dad share the middle of the night feeding
Daycare and school call the number you give them as the primary, they don't just default to mom.
I don't know why everyone is so impressed he is like 32 or 33 years old. I have been a father and married to the same women for 15 years we were 19 and 24 and I find that more impressive.

Knocking up a 19 year-old is not impressive. Much more impressive to accomplish something before having an unplanned pregnancy. Your long marriage is impressive, though.
I think there is too much tail kissing to the elite runners. I have lost count on how many former world-class runners I have seen sitting in some bar living a divorced has been life-style trying to Al Bundy it up to a group of ladies who can care less about what you ran. Smartest elite runner was hands down Chirs Lukezic tossed in the shoes and moved on to a successful career. Hate to say it once you focus on something other then running money does matter it matters a lot!
