Those L.A. chicks like Deena Drossin, Sara Bei, Mary Decker, Desiree Davila, plus 10,000 others always stay young in the sun.

Sara Bei is from Santa Rosa, not L.A., Mary Decker is from Orange, not L.A., Desiree Davila is from Chula Vista, not L.A., otherwise, good post dude.

365 days a year of sunshine makes you young forever. LA Girls have it all living in LA is the largest running community in the world. Each day LA has 200,000 runners on beaches and trails. 1,000,000 per day on holidays.

Back in about 2006 the USATF Cross Country championships were at VCP. It's a few hours from my house so we drove down to watch. My daughter was in 10th grade. We got talking to Joe Vigil and he asked my daughter if she wanted Deena's autograph. He ripped of the corner of an envelope and told me to write my address then stuck it in his pocket.

I said to my daughter- we'll probably never get that autograph.

A few days later- a poster with an inspirational quote written by Deena with her autograph arrived by US mail.

My daughter still has that poster.

Au contraire, mon ami. The distance between two of those "suburbs" is greater than the distance through 7 pissant eastern seaboard states between Boston and Washington, D.C. On the other hand, you are probably right that all those eastern states are all the same petty little sh!t too.

Consider "LA runners" in the area from Redding to Park City to Albuquerque to Flagstaff, Kingman, Tucson to Mojave, Vegas to Dago to Hollywirid to Santa Barbara to Mammoth, Bakersfield to Frisco and Silly Valley. That's LA Running.
