    There is a LOT of rubbish on this thread. Obviously by people who do not know James, Pat, or his HS coaching situation, or trolls just trying stir up trouble.

    It is very true that he has his own separate coach. Hopefully he’s giving him some more hill work this year. Bear crawling the last 200m of the OSU course didn’t work too well for him back in 2021. Respect to him for trying something different though!

    Then Nike will just sign James to be coached by his current coach. Who said you have to go the "group" route?
