weed can totally be addictive and certain people (addicts) clearly can get addicted to it. there's 2 components to any addiction: 1) the physical addiction and 2) the mental obsession.
With weed, the physical addiction is not nearly as strong as something like alcohol or opiates. But the mental obsession can be just as strong. And there are definitely people who are addicted to pot because of the mental obsession.
I know guys who left long-term jobs they loved because the company initiated drug testing for weed. They explicitly said they chose weed over employment. But no, not addicted.

Yes. Pot is not physically addictive, but can be psychologically addictive.
Everyone knows someone who got involved with weed and was never the same. Lack of motivation, cutting class, dropping out of sports, just being a total loser.
Just say no.
I think it's because pot is illegal. The type of person who breaks the law has lack of self discipline and does what they want to do even if they're not supposed to. If you lack self discipline you're probably not going to do other things in life that will help you succeed. They don't have the discipline to do their school work, work on their sport, or do anything productive. They just want to do whatever they want to do at that moment, and don't take care of anything else.
The truth about running isn't easy to handle. Make sure you're sitting down before you click play and share this with a runner you know and love.Watch Studio...
A tangent here: I dislike smoke in general and find myself avoiding - even suddenly dodging - smoke from people smoking pot, cigarettes, cigars, vaping, etc. I might be OK with incense in a church but in general I am annoyed when smokers are anywhere close to me.

How is marijuana illegal? It can be grown, sold, and used in several states. For the rest - the police department understands that there is no political benefit to large-scale marijuana busts. Thus it’s hard to get arrested for pot possession.

Mentally addictive is the same as physically addictive, as a person cannot function without a brain. When you smoke weed (especially regular use of the high potency stuff on the market today), you deaden your cannabinoid receptors (which are responsible for pain sensation, mood, memory, appetite, etc.) meaning that when a pothead is not high, they are irritable, depressed, forgetful, psychotic, etc., because their brain's natural reward system has been damaged. So, to be frank, the reason addicts can't stop talking about it is because of brain damage.
Excerpt from "Bill Cosby - Himself" about how all children have brain damage! Hilarious!I thought you couldn't get the DVD anymore but as it turns out, Amazo...

With vocabulary being limited to "dooood" and chronically half closed eyes.
How can it be illegal? Try buying, selling, or possessing it in most states. You will find out exactly how it can be illegal.
I can buy it legally (with a prescription) and I’m in a red state. I can also travel with it with my ID card, at least domestically.
My uncle is an extremely successful entrepreneur (now retired), and has been smoking or consuming THC in some form off and on for 50 years.
Most of Hollywood dabbles in THC. You’d be surprised at the number of executives that do it as well. I’m not talking wake and bake black light poster type people, but occasional smoking is about as safe as any drug gets, including alcohol.

you can't travel out of state with it though, right? i've got a card as well and pretty sure traveling with it is rolling the dice a bit.
Many states have reciprocity laws, which will accept your prescription. I only carry a small vape pen, so it’s not really going to get detected anyway.
I probably wouldn’t travel with a giant ziploc full of flowers.

No it's not Mr. Semantics. The results of a physically addictive drug are physical (sweating, vomiting, the shakes). The results of mentally addictive drugs are mental, i.e. it's harder to tolerate your lame posts, couched in repressed fear of pot and other things you don't understand.

Pot addiction has plenty of physical withdrawal symptoms: head ache, nausea, etc. You’re altering biochemistry, and that manifests in a number of physical and psychological ways. The brain is the most important part of the body. You can’t damage that and not expect adverse impacts.
Medically, pot isn't physically addictive like a narcotic or even alcohol. If you stop using marijuana your body isn't going to have a severe withdrawal reaction. Mental addiction is another topic.
