While you stood idly by and even helped to hasten this so-called destruction by supporting it with your mouse clicks.

There are no posts of the years anymore. Wejo has let the vulgar punks destroy what was once the best message board in the world. RIP.
I don't know who the best poster is, but it's easy to tell who is not:
Vipam
ttc
Flagpole
malmo
dunes runner
Sir Lance-a-lot
etc.
One person that has been overlooked to this point is "runnerhigh3333". That dude was big for about a month back in the spring.

Wow!!! Glad I didn't make this list.
TK gets my vote. Always classy and knowledgeable.

How can you have too much info. Oh, I remember, it might educate.

Lot's [sic] of good ones and lot's [sic] of bad ones too. How about the worse [sic] poster of 05.
Lock nominates himself for worst poster.

The one who makes people not want to come back here. Am I setting myself up here?
Thanks to your sterling work on the BlackNWhite thread, yes.
I would have to say Roger the Sheep. That guy cracks me up everytime!
My sister Jackie and her boyfriend Clint. They are the bestest!

Got a mixed bag here. The fact that Sir Lance-a-lot and I are on the same list is hilarious, especially since he doesn't like my posts. I actually like his though. Malmo is a GREAT poster though. I wish he'd post more. Not only is he a former elite runner (which makes no difference to me, but it does to many of you) but he's funny and right on with training advice. Also, he's turned many of you into hopeless gamblers, so that just keeps the job market more open for me. What's not to like, no LOVE about Malmo? Seriously.
Vipam and ttc have solid posts most of the time too. ttc is the best predictor of race outcomes on this board. I guess you prefer all the sophomoric stuff, 'cause none of these fine posters are that. I'm sure you enjoyed Bill Eamick. Dude said, "f**k" - oh, that's HILARIOUS! If you have to break out the foul language, you ain't got much to say - Richard Pryor, George Carlin and early Eddie Murphy (before he hooked up with that tranny) are the exceptions.
I am going with Headman2 because he carried the thread, Is it possible to lose 20 pounds in 1 month?. I look at this like the Heisman Trophy and that one great game can put you over the top of the competition.

Don't forget about Renato Canova, even though he rarely posts here anymore.

My vote for Poster of the Year is patti. She brought fresh life, happiness, and innocence to the board just when it was mosted needed (not to mention experience and legendary status). Her contributions this year brought together many great runners from yesteryear and showed the younger generation how it's done. That includes classiness and humility as well as work ethic and high-end results.
Feel free to vote for your own favorite(s).
Turtle Souped Up(no relation) started a great thread that had lots of good stuff from other runners and was going well when Mrs. Dillon posted. Her JOY!! about our sport just hit many posters and they started remembering what great time can be had by running with friends and sharing thoughts. It snowballed to a nice 'family' before some (insert cryptic derogatory description)started messing with the board and targeted that thread. They crashed the board a few times and made it a hostile place to be.(A personal attack on wejo undermy 'name' was my last straw). Forced to move the Patti Clan found a home on another board where the spirit of the Boston '79 thread lives today. Let's hope this board can see something like that again instead of a 1500 post "She is a racist but I'd hit her thread"
Something that defines the best of our sport not the worse is needed to act as a rally point for mature conversation about this great sport.
Hey I joke and spoof with the best of them but do do harm in word or deed(O.K. I'm a bit hard on King Carls single sister who seemingly desperate need for date over whelms her when she passes "fit young men in spandex")>
Thanks for listening.....Tom Hyland
Probably Snow Pea or Chimp Plouman.
Patti

Patti
PATTI!
And ditto to everything wineturtle just said. The PattiClan, including TTFlyer (Tom Fleming) and Bill Rodgers and everyone was a brief view of everything that could be upbeat, fun and lovely on a board (or in a sport, for that matter). This board gets quite jaded, and it seems that every 10 days or so a thread about some attractive woman runner develops along the theme of "I hate her but I want to sleep with her", which is really a pathetic sentiment, when one thinks about it.
Runner-Up: Nobby and Team Nobby (jtupper, HRE, and the gang) for the Lydiard-v-Daniels thread. Like Patti, Nobby seems to be a tremendous source of non-sarcastic energy. I think he's the main reason I wander over to the message board these days.
Another vote for Nobby.
My vote's for Patti!
ADershowitz. OMG the guy was funny. Check it out.
