Missed the morning session, just finished daily run, now exceedingly excited to see how the women's 5K plays out. The heat will likely make it slower, possibly giving Americans a better chance to medal. I wouldn't be surprised if Siffan runs on "Pure Hate" the last 800 and wins.

Anne Zagre was in the lane next to Ali during her heat. Ali knocked over Zagre's 10th hurdle and fell into her lane. Zagre hurdled open air as if the hurdle was there and did not look to be impeded at all by Ali's fall. Good decision to give her another chance, though.
