6. University of Colorado. Placed 4th. Returns Covert and Minnuti, and also adds transfers Bailey Hertenstein (28th at nationals in 2020) and Ella Baran (15:49 5K). Constien got 72nd in March 2021. They also got Addy Wiley who ran a 4:26 and will add depth. With all these new faces they should be able to reload even after losing lots of people.
Just saw that U of C also has Annie Hill who finished 100th at nationals 2019 and ran even faster at conference that year. So even more depth is added. Crazy how many people are gonna fill in after losing so many seniors.
The end of June is a weird time for us at The Stride Report. It's still too early in the summer to post our preseason rankings, but it's also too late in the year to simply ignore the upcoming fall season and all that comes w...

She ran 2017, 18, 19 and 21. That is 4 years and they all count.
I think DeLay will still be eligible this fall because she did not run in fall 2020.
Isabella Williams from Utah State ran in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021. I guess that’s because she did not run in 2020. She graduated HS in 2015.
There is a Bella Williams of Utah, and I guess an Isabella Williams of Utah State (but she doesn't show on roster nor show in 2021 results). Bella Williams ran 4 years for Utah - 2017 18, 19, 21
University Minnesota looks to be falling from grace. They lose their top 3. Their top 3 coming back will be in their last year. Korzenowski / Thomsen / Sweeney. Maybe Brianne Brewster will join them with her 16:54 5K.

As I already mentioned yesterday in the Men's prediction thread, looks like CU is in the process of updating its roster for 2022 (https://cubuffs.com/sports/cross-country/roster/2022?&sort=class ; no detail showing yet for its freshmen or incoming transfers, so assume roster is NOT final, so changes may still be possiblelikely).
If that roster, at least as far as grad students coming back, is accurate, the Buffs may also have the following runners available for this season:
India Johnson (58th at NCAA's and 4th at Pac 12's last season.)
Elle Orie (Doesn't look like she competed after the 1st race last season in XC, but did make the NCAA Championships semis in steeplechase this past outdoor season. Also won XC's Northeast Regional back in 2019 while at Cornell before finishing 90th at the Championships that year.)
Kaitlyn Barthell (37th place (6th Buff finisher) at last season's NCAA Mountain Regional.)

India Johnson seems to have competed in XC in 2017, 18, 19, 21.
Michigan womens team is getting another transfer from Tufts who ran a 20:36. So they will have a solid top 5: 20:16 20:31 20:33 20:36 Also another 16:05
