hes right they can,provided theyre mega talented,work hard in training, do the proper mileage,have the right coach, and take the right combination of EPO and some kind of steroid or two,preferably in sizeable doses.

The overall reality of Farah and any other world class runner that is highly successful you either find something else that gives you solid goals and aspirations to succeed or you turn into the has been 40 to 50+ year old drunk at the bar talking about how good you use to be. I have a good friend that was nowhere close to Farah's level not even a sliver but running has been the only thing successful he has done in his life and had minor success in. When I hit 25 and realized it was going to be nothing more than recreation post college,
I moved on went back to finish up the degree I screwed off not completing in college and went on to grad school. Today I have a solid marriage a very solid career and my friend is 38 years old and lost in life. His mom contacted me and mentioned that she can’t get ahold of him and whenever he contacts her it is always about money. The guy who never really drank is now deep into drugs and in a relationship with a female that introduced him to that lifestyle. When I travel to big track meets as a fan the number of former stars that I see hanging around that are in failed marriages, looking terrible, and miserable and it is all because they can’t let go of what they use to be. Farah is going to have to accept it is over
and move on or he can hang around and enjoy being a sub 30 10k guy for a little while and do it for fun but if he can’t just enjoy it, he is going to have to walk away and accept it. If he can’t do that it is going to have nothing but a crazy negative effect on his health and life.
