The Ches situation is actually a shame as to the immigration issue. I am unsure of who to blame on this? I have said this for years now. You would have thought with Nike/Phil Knight influence and all he(Ches) did piling up trophies and points and free pub for Oregon, they would have at least started his "clock" then? The fact that this is still ongoing is shameful on many levels.
Ches always overcooked Haas workouts,going way too hard. Now that he's back with Andy, someone who he trusts and has a relationship with, he feels more secure to run the prescribed workout.

Anyway, back on topic, I believe Ches could easily run sub 60:00 in the right race. In the recent video he seems to be hinting at a focus on the roads despite mentioning that he would like to improve his indoor mile time.

6 x mile at ~10k pace isn't crazy, and 3150' isn't exactly mega altitude (especially for a Kenyan runner).
